Earl B. Mix III is a Partner and is responsible for co-managing all investment activities. Prior to NCF, Mr. Mix was a Partner with Canaan Partners co-managing all mezzanine investments. Prior to joining Canaan, he was a Senior Vice President for Heller Financial, Inc. specializing in leveraged buyout and recapitalization financings. Mr. Mix has over 29 years of experience in leverage finance and consulting with firms such as Citibank and Arthur Andersen. He has provided capital for manufacturers, distributors, service companies and retailers in a broad array of industries including food products, transportation, steel and general manufacturing. Mr. Mix holds a BA from Wesleyan University and an MBA from the Darden School at the University of Virginia.

Bradley A. Ament is a Partner and is responsible for co-managing all investment activities. Prior to joining NCF in 2006, Mr. Ament was a Director, Team Leader with Merrill Lynch Capital, where he actively managed a team of professionals responsible for originating, underwriting and managing debt and equity investments with private equity clients. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch Capital, he was a Senior Vice President for Heller Financial, Inc. and GE Capital. Mr. Ament has over 22 years of experience in leverage finance. He has provided capital for manufacturers, distributors and service companies in a broad array of industries. Mr. Ament holds a BS in Accounting from the University of Illinois and an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.

Mark R. Thies is a Partner and is responsible for co-managing all investment activities. Prior to NCF, Mr. Thies was a Partner with Canaan Partners co-managing all mezzanine investments. Prior to joining Canaan, he was a Senior Vice President for Heller Financial, Inc. specializing in leveraged buyout and recapitalization financings. Mr. Thies has over 30 years of experience in leverage finance with firms such as Citibank and Fleet Bank. He has provided capital for manufacturers, distributors, service companies and retailers in a broad array of industries including industrial equipment, paper products, food service and printing. Mr. Thies holds a BS in Finance from Fairfield University and an MBA in Finance from California State University, East Bay.

Sharon A. Fitzpatrick is a Vice President/Analyst with NCF and is responsible for overseeing office operations and assisting with fund management. Prior to joining NCF in 2002, Ms. Fitzpatrick was an Executive Assistant with Ryan Partnership where she provided support to the President and two Executive Vice Presidents. Prior to joining Ryan Partnership, Ms. Fitzpatrick was an Executive Assistant to the Vice President and Director of Marketing for Olin Corporation. Prior to joining Olin Corporation, Ms. Fitzpatrick was a Marketing Coordinator for Nine West Group. Ms. Fitzpatrick has over 15 years of research and analysis experience; 13 years in leverage finance. Ms. Fitzpatrick holds a BS in Business Management from Teikyo Post University.

Dennis R. Robleski is a Partner and is responsible for co-managing all investment activities. Prior to joining NCF in 2016, Mr. Robleski was a Managing Director, Head of Sponsor Finance for BMO Harris Bank, where he managed a team of 50 professionals providing leveraged capital to portfolio companies of middle market private equity groups. Prior to joining BMO, Mr. Robleski was a Managing Director and co-head of Sponsor Finance with Merrill Lynch Capital, where he managed a team of 70 professionals responsible for originating, underwriting and managing debt and equity investments with portfolio companies of middle market private equity groups. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch Capital, he was an Executive Vice President for Heller Financial, with responsibility for Heller’s middle market sponsor finance business and its fund investment and direct equity business. Mr. Robleski has over 30 years of experience in leveraged finance across a broad spectrum of manufacturers, distributors, service companies and retailers in buyouts, recapitalizations and build-ups. Mr. Robleski holds a BBA in Accounting from the Western Michigan University and an MBA from the Keller Graduate School of Management.

Kevin P. Jones is a Vice President with NCF and is responsible for contributing to investment activities and assisting in fund management, accounting and compliance. Prior to joining NCF in 2012, Mr. Jones was a Credit Risk Analyst at IntercontinentalExchange, ICE Clear Credit LLC. Mr. Jones was employed at KPMG, LLP from 2003 through 2009 in the Transaction Services department, conducting financial due diligence mostly on behalf of private equity firms. Mr. Jones has over 10 years of transaction and financial diligence experience. Mr. Jones earned a BBA in Accounting and an MSA, both from the University of Notre Dame.

Dana Mason is an Administrative Assistant with NCF. Prior to joining NCF in 2014, Ms. Mason was an Executive Assistant with Medline Industries where she provided daily support to the Vice President of Sales and President of Healthcare Sales. Prior to joining Medline Industries, Ms. Mason worked at Meridian Leasing Corporation as a Lease Administrator and Portfolio Analyst. She performed cost analysis of leasing transactions, analyzed secondary market for computer and technology equipment and reviewed all leasing documentation for accuracy. Ms. Mason has a strong background in administration and has over 10 years of experience working at the executive level.
